Anne your take is very interesting too. I would have thought just the opposite. Of course *unlike* you I am not a musician nor a songwriter. I can hit a few chords on the guitar and a little on the piano.. that is the extent of it. Did you hear Joni's explanation of her alternate/open tunings on the MUCHMUSIC program she did in 94'?
