Most people don't understand the place Joni hits me.....when I try to talk about the JMDL many people can't grasp at what it is....finally I said to my husband, I just think that there is some fundamental charater trait that people who love love love Joni Mitchell share. This is why JoniFest was created and works so well....throw a bunch of people together who are seemingly strangers but share this intense bond and they'll end up having a hell of a good time. The music we listen to is part of who we are inside and out. I never make fun of anyone's music selection, I think it's one of the greatest insults.
