I tell Amelia, it was just a false alarm.

Go on, kill me, but as a lover of Joni and of classical and operatic (and jazz and folk etc etc) music, I was not 'blown away' by the orchestration on Amelia which I heard today. It wasn't Mantovanni but it wasn't Adams or Glass either. What am I saying? I dunno. Is is great art? Is Mendozza a master...I doubt it so far...do I wanna be wrong...u betcha! Please make the other tracks spine tinglingly good.

I'm praying for some insight on the other tracks. I want the musicians to add something meaningful ....am I an old moan...almost certainly... but as Joni calls herself a painter and not an artist, IMHO Mendozza is a musical furnisher not a great orchestrator. (could I do any better I ask myself...lol) . Time to go home and let the bile out somewhere else..Sorry folks..I hope if she does more of this kinda thing, she teams up with someone else
