Because you're on this side of the Atlantic. Had you grown up on the other 
side, you would more likely say that you were more familiar with the MSC 
version. However, the MSC version did make some waves here, I remember my 
sister had the 45 and I liked it even then.

I agree with this whole-heartedly - it's just that time and the title of the 
song has given it that kind of treatment. When I think of some of the more 
wacky covers I have, a lot of them are Woodstock, because for a lot of folks 
that event was a defining point in the culture.
