re: polanski- he was 43 & the girl was 13...he lived up the street from her...this happened in 1977 (8 years after his wife was tragically murdered)...he was convicted & fled the country when he found out he might receive a life sentence instead of no prison under a plea bargain...recently there was talk of letting him return to stand trial with a promise of no prison? i don't get it...
