Dang..I have to say, that was WELL put. I responded with what I figured was
why JSP is superior, and you blew my response right off the map! :)

At any rate, I noticed towards the end you mentioned J2EE a little bit, but
I think J2EE is a "bigger" reason than others to use JSP. The mere fact
that J2EE is becoming a widely accepted architecture with major support
from some of the biggest well-known companies in the arena (IBM, SUN, Linux
community, Oracle, Web Logic, etc). Since JSP is a smaller part of the
whole of J2EE, it seems only logical to use JSP over anything else, such as
PHP, if your developing a pure Java server application.

This is my opinion. Doesn't mean its the right way.
