How many people are actively using Cold Fusion in their jobs?
I have just started using CF and am trying to convert one of my sites to CF. I have two client sites that use a CF shopping cart.
What companies in KC use Cold Fusion?
Don't know - I am lucky enough to work for myself.
What kind of a project are you currently involved in?
As mentioned above, I have a site (http://www.katsuey.com) which provides links to legal information on the Internet. I am attempting (but I'm stuck right now) on creating a database and query results based on categories and / or keywords.
Are you involved in multiple projects at the same time?
Yes. I am a web designer/developer and have clients whose sites I maintain and of course I accept new business at all times.
Are CF jobs usually temp/contract work or are the jobs full time/full benefits kind of work?
The only benefits I get are those of working for myself! And those are priceless.
How did you learn CF?
I haven't accomplished that yet! I'm using CF WACK, the CommunityMX http://www.communitymx.com
site and still looking for CF for dummies. At the same time I'm trying to learn MySQL but I must be doing
okay since I took the quiz the other day and scored 85%
