So, it is your contention that your wife is the equal to 10 or more (at least in HS) professional educators that, presumably, are adept in the field they teach? I mean no disrespect to your wife, I'm sure she's intelligent and dedicated, but seems a stretch.

A teacher doesn't need to be an expert on anything. They just need to know (or learn) enough to teach it.

Don't stretch yourself too much over this. The concept is far more simple than you would like to blow it up into.
