BTW, have you ever tried SSH'ing into your XO? Trying to read that
really really small console text is not making my eyes happy.
not yet and don't even know if sshd is on it or running. I have used
both the Sugar wrapped terminal and the console. There's probably
a way to change the font sizes.

Sshd is indeed installed. But which user to log in as? Whether as
olpc-user or root, a password is required. I don't know that there is
one for either.
So I added my own user account. With that I can log in via SSH. However,
trying to Su to root returns "Permission denied".
