Jef I would suggest that you go to http://www.flycorvair.com/ and read. Start with the link to A Corvair Primer and continue from there. You may also want to invest in William Wynne's book. I think his website and book may save you a lot of money buying the wrong engine, expensive parts and paying an engine builder who may be great at building engines for cars but know nothing about aircraft.

But if I was a Newby and wanted an engine for my potential KR2s project and I thought a Corvair engine would be a good choice, would I be wise to look for a 180 turbo? Or would a 110hp or other Corvair be just fine, considering I would have an engine builder go through it & build it to certain souped-up specs? > > Anybody?? > > Jef > > __________________________________________________________________ > Switch to Netscape Internet Service. > As low as $9.95 a month -- Sign up today at http://isp.netscape.com/register > > Netscape.
