KR> To VW or Not To VW

OK that is the question. To VW or Not To VW?
The project that I purchased came with a VW engine mount installed. I
have been hearing a lot of folks are converting to the Corvair due to
a lot of crank breaks and other problems with the VW. So I ask all my
fellow KRers should I convert to a Corvair now while I am still in a
boat stage and have not started the front deck or cowling? Or have the
VW's gotten better and now just getting a bad rap?
