Mark said, > "When I picked up Jim Faughn's KR from Steve Bennett, the first thing I noticed . . . ." I remember when that plane got "pickled". I'd picked up 335KC from Steve's hangar at Millard and stopped at Wahoo to say goodbye and practice a couple landings. Jim and Steve were busy making Faughn's plane safe for storage. It never flew again until you picked it up so there's no wonder it had some surprises. When leaving I foolishly didn't think about my propwash and ended up blowing some kind of chalk-like dust that was on the taxiway/ramp all over them and the plane. I saw what I'd done as I took off and apologized like crazy for being so careless. They wished me well and said it was of no consequence and to stay safe on my trip home.
