I loaned my hangar to a guy rebuilding a Challenger LSA while I was at OSH this
year. He was using the cheapest Autogas around me, I'm sure. He left his sump
samples in the gatoraide bottle I use for 100LL. I noticed it was clear when I
got back, and he had returned to San Francisco- noticed it was clear yellowish
liquid, not blue. It's a long walk from my hangar to the nearest urinal.... So
I sniffed it and it was MoGas. Well I let it sit there for a couple more
months before I dumped it on the gravel. It had ETCHED my previously clear
water bottle.
So I would agree with the experts on the KRNet that say to use something better
than plastic. That car gas has things in it that are harmful to "many common"
plastic products.

Howdy, Netters;

Seems like it's been slow here on the list for awhile so I thought I'd throw
out a question. The plane I sold before I acquired the KR was a Pietenpol Air
go to the filling station and get out of the vehicle when full.
