"back in the day", I had a Grumman AA1 which was STC'd for autofuel. I would bring up to four 5-gal cans in my Samurai and dump it in, but it is a low wing plane. some of our state airports have exclusive fuel concessions so no self-refuelling. but the smaller ones were okay at least back then they were. you COULD get a bigger commercial job site type tank and a faster (12v?) pump with a hose to gain some efficiency. maybe even installed in a small utility trailer if u want.
