My thanks to all you netters who chimed in on autogas handling. I'm settling
on the Chris Pryce solution and looked at the 5 gallon Tuff Jugs that Chris
mentioned. Going through the company's specifications on their jugs, as well
as their FAQs, they neatly sidestep the question about whether the HDPE that
they use in making the jugs is fuel grade or not, and a question that I posed
directly to their support people resulted in a gentle reiteration of the
statement in their FAQ. I understand their disclaimer and am OK with that.

N335KC has a 17 gallon tank up in front of the instrument panel, over the
pilot's knees, so the fill opening is at a height that makes it easier to
observe the filling process if you're not trying to balance a big heavy
container of fuel up there for any length of time. The Tuff Jugs empty their
contents pretty briskly, as I understand it, so that helps. I suppose I'll
need to acquire three of their 5 gallon jugs, but I'm fine with that too.

Santa Claus arrived early and left me a set of pitch and roll servos for the
GRT Horizon EFIS today. The servos will install on the floor behind the seat
and are of the capstan type with bridles that clamp onto the elevator and
aileron crossover cables aft of the aft spar (thanks to John Bouyea and Jeff
Scott for guidance on this). Should make a nice installation. I'll post a pic
and installation comments once I get it done, in case anyone is interested.
