Thanks.

I'm not hearing the bursts on the XDP port, good point to look for.

I also noticed that on the digital phone LCD screen the LCD is showing the
information vs the XDP port. (Even though I'm changed the software to
reflect "port 2 as the CID port".

According to the software, I have "port 2" as the port to receive the CID.

I even took it a step further and set all 4 software settings reflect port 2
as the CID and STILL ONLY the digital phones continued to receive the CID
not the STL devices on the XDP ports.

Seems the software if not telling the switch to send CID to the XDP ports.

This convinces me even more that there are additional settings somewhere
that I'm not aware of.

Listen across the port and see if you hear the packet bursts on the XDP
port. Brad

Yes, XDP is enabled and the CID box is plugged directly into the XDP jack on
the back of the digital phone.
I've also verified that the XDP is set to ring. This should confirm that
I'm on the correct pair.

....Yes, we have CID on all 12 lines and CID shows up just fine on each of
the LCD displays.

I actually have 4 TD171 cards to my surprise, and installed them on both
expansion slots on both cabinets and no programming loss from the stations
that were using the TD170 cards.

Just to make sure I have the correct setting in the software, I have enabled
"port 2" (program code 133) as the CID port to send the information to the
CID boxes, is that correct? And enabled XDP on the station?

Thanks!

Here's one thing I didn't think of.
Are all your phone jacks wired with 2 pairs? The digital phones only use the
2nd pair, but the slt caller id would be on the first pair, so if some jacks
wired with only the second pair then the cid would not work.

Also, the obvious questions... do you get caller id now on the digital
phones? i.e. is caller id working on all the lines from the phone company?
If you plug the slt caller id box directly on a co line does it work?
