Double ring sounds like a data security block on the extension. 791 comes to
mind but not sure. Brad

I stuffed a 171 in my shop 816-3 set expand(109) to E
set the following using port 9 (171 E1=port 1 (133)) then enabled xdp
port 9. (600)

when i call in i get double ring on ext 209 (xdp analog pair) then HEAR
cid tone on butt set then the next rings are single rings, and no more
tones.

cid is fine on digital phones. but the cid tone will not display on 3
different cid boxes, but one will blink like it tried. the tone sounds
too short for name and number. need to find my junk box with the cid
box assortment. the double ring bothers me too, I have devices (fax)
that will not decode after a double ring.

will see if there is a fudge bit in 990 to change level or format.

-larry,
