i think you meant port cards...

FIRST TWO ports of either addon card(of 171), not last two. (would be last two extension cards) 17/18 or 25/26 (01/02 and 09/10 are internal and couldn't be a 171)

same for slave, but slave will start with port 33 in groups of 8 ports.

If you are using default numbering, ext 127 will be port 27 which is 3rd port of second addon card, you will need to move up to ext 125 or 126 port 25 or 26. (with xdp enabled the analog pair ext will be +100 or 225 or 226)

programmable extensions are a great idea, but can be a real pain when changing them around. Especially since some extension features are based on ext number and other features based on port number. Do a number swap and suddenly some features follow the ext number and others stay with the port. (dss goes wacko and vm box needs re-recorded for new ext #)

think you are on the verge of having slt cid. If you find a box the can hear and decode the fsk.

I think we are onto something.

It's the last 2 port (one or the other) on the TD171 card that can ONLY
support the LEC CID.

I'm using the default numbering plan for extensions so need to use a
different extension to get the LEC CID.

I'll will test and report back.
