when they want changes, charge them. make it clear up front - give them a clear schedule of prices. nothing wrong with that. just don't try to lock them in.

here's an example, suppose you had a locksmith come to your house and rekey a lock but use a key style only he distributes. Then when you wanted new keys, you were forced to go to that locksmith? even if he charge standard prices, wouldn't you feel "locked in". (ok, so this is contrived but you get the idea).
