We were in London for an evening out, and he was talking about buying a house and getting a joint mortgage - I said "If we're getting married, you have to ask me", and he said "We are, aren't we?" and we did <G>. October 3rd 2009 was our 39th anniversary, and we both forgot ... I remembered at about 5pm, went shopping, and took home a nice card and a bottle of wine.
