Clay and Spiders,

I have a wonderful travel pillow, which has been all over the place with me,
over the last 15 years or so, and although the outside looks a little
battered, and I have replaced the square and the roller part of the pillow,
I wouldn't be without it, and am seriously considering investing in another
one. It looks like an over-large brick, on its end, and opens out so that
the actual apron bit (where the bobbins actually sit whilst work is in
progress) is larger than an 18" pillow would be. Consequently, although I
do very often use travel bobbins with it, they aren't a necessity, as there
is space to use quite a few ordinary-sized Midlands (I always use
Midlands..) bobbins. It is made of quite sturdy hardboard, and sits on
four little rubber 'feet' - it folds together ingeniously, and is portable
and easy to use, so I really love mine!

I think SMP still sell it - and if anyone gets the chance to purchase it,
then go ahead - you won't regret it.

And you'll be able to make more lace, as you won't have take up time to
fiddle with adapting a pillow.
