Avital, another question, could the name show that the jewish people coming from Spain to Germany brought with them this handcraft? Because in the book of Jewish museum in Praque it's named Spanier Arbit. Which sound to me Jiddish as lots of Jewish people speak in former time here in Germany. Here in Hamburg we have a graveyard were both people the one coming from south and the other coming from the east are burried. The work itself reminds me on Hohlspitze, I have no idea how it is in English, as well as a certain gold-embroidery which gold-caps for folkloric costumes are done.
