I honestly am not sure. SuSE doesn't list anywhere that I've found what
patches that they use for their kernels.

How so? I suppose you could use it to grab the config from a running
kernel in order to upgrade, but it's not as useful as it could be, what
with a lack of any way to include the patches.

Checking my server, it seems that this might be a variation on the
proconfig patch. In this case, you need to "zcat /proc/config.gz" to get
the info, but it's definitely the config file. Of course, the server
kernel is 2.4.2, so...
