I want to upgrade the version of shorewall on my Bering firewall so I can use the blacklist feature to control internet access for certain machines on my home network. I followed the instructions on the shorewall download page " mkdir Shorewall.lrp; cd Shorewall.lrp; tar -zxf <downloaded .lrp>; cat var/lib/lrpkg/shorwall.version" But it doesn't seem to extract properly. When I try to backup the Shorewall pkg I get errors stating that parts of the package are not found. I opened the downloaded lrp file with Winzip to view the paths that the various files should extract to, then looked on the Bering floppy and indeed they were not there. I tried to copy the new shorwall.lrp onto the boot floppy to replace the original but that doesn't work either. Anyone else done it?
