Normally I use Floppy-firewall 2.x. This works fine for months now. Using that floppyfirewall, PPPD connects to ttyp0, so I thought, *here* it should do the same. But I am not sure, because Floppyfirewall uses RP-PPPoe.

I just made fresh Floppy from the imagefile and changed only the most nessecary things and got the same error: "Could not set MTU/MRU to 1500" .... :-( It seems, PPPD does not get the parameters from /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider correctly
And one more question: When the floppy comes up, it tries to chat to a modem ! CHAT: AT --- failed.... I got no modem indeed, i got an ethernet card .... So I start PPPD manually: "pon dsl-provider eth0" to get the error, described above...
Thanks a lot !
