Thanks a lot. I found a wrong entry in the interfaces file.
Currently *it runs* ! :-) Setting up masqerading, dns-cache, dhcp was
quickly done. Bering does all the jobs now formerly FloppyFirewall did.
Installing Floppyfirewall was in my case much easier than Bering, but
Floppyfirewall misses some services.

Thanks for the fine bytes on /dev/fd0u1680 and your help !
