Thanks a lot. I found a wrong entry in the interfaces file. Currently *it runs* ! :-) Setting up masqerading, dns-cache, dhcp was quickly done. Bering does all the jobs now formerly FloppyFirewall did. Installing Floppyfirewall was in my case much easier than Bering, but Floppyfirewall misses some services.
