yes. ppp and pppoe are correctly declared in sysconfig.cfg
and pppoe is loaded. I can see it, when I issue the
"pon dsl-provider eth0 " command. I already did a test.
I commented it out to see what's happening.

I read the users-faq belongig ppp/pppoe and adopted it to
my needs... I cant find any mistake.

But what I see is: MTU are defined in dsl-providers. Why
does PPPD take the built-in default of 1500 ??? It seems,
it does not care about the entries in that file. The
file is read correctly, I tested that. I did change some
other entries to check out. All entries seem to be read
correctly, but PPPD doesn't mind about MTU/MRU...

In dsl-providers are *two* seetings for MTU. The first one
is inside pty-statement " -I eth0 -m 1452"
and the second one is in one of the last lines of that file.
I think PPPD should not connect to eth0 directly, it should
connect to a pseudo-tty. But it connects eth0 directly.

Thanks for your help !
