>>Nunez was already at the club. He wasn't rated above the walkees by
Grayson or he wouldve played more than the 5 mins he got.<<

If we'd been tooling along in mid-table I guess the youngsters would have
got a few more games. But we were challenging for promotion all season and
Grayson managed his risks and shipped four talented but inexperienced
players out on loan, while bringing in more experienced loanees.

Nunez, Lees, White and Clayton all did well on loan and got some good
match experience - and I guess all four will play a part this season. That's
two home-grown players and two signings that we didn't have last season.

Still 33 days of transfer window to go, plus the loan window opens after
that. I'd guess there's a fair chance Lichaj and Watt will return, maybe on
loan again.

I'd rather we didn''t get into bidding wars with Leicester and Ipswich
over some OK but hardly earth-shattering players.

>>Brown like or better than Johnson? Really?<<

Central Midfielder, but with more experience. I'd say it was an
improvement - a wise head in midfield was lacking at times last season.

>>I actually think lonergerereran is a decent signing but is he better
than schmeical? I don't think any of us know, I'd say few of us believe he
is.<<

Championship goalkeeper for championship goalkeeper. There's not going to
be a world of difference, is there.
