Leeds were 10th in the table with an average league position of 13 and a spend of players which was 1.7 relative to the average spend of all clubs

Random luck taken into account still leaveas a correlation of 90% over about 15-20 years so pay for the players win things, don't pay be Rotherham United.

I would reccomend this book to anyone even vaguely interested in facts and an interesting slant on the madness of football club management.
