I just tuned in to this thread (which I'd been ignoring as I do most "non-LU" threads), to see you're actually talking about real rock music. I saw Iron Maiden in 1982 while on holiday in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It was the "For Those About to Rock" Tour, and they were in the middle of a three-band bill with Girlschool opening and Scorpions headlining. Victoria is so laid back that I (age 15) was able to walk backstage after the show and chat to the guys from Iron Maiden and Scorpions. Great memory.
