Yep,  under arrangements between UK and EU they recharge costs (e111 or
something).  Basically and sweeping generality costa del sol and province 1m
brits largely of a mature age with arthritis heart trouble and age related
issues vs more young fit healthy Lithuanians Poles and the like coming to
work in the UK.  

However I relaise any side of the argument here can find facts to dispute
any other fact!

Basically no one knows or will know

Question:  Is it really the case in other EU countries that these retirees
enjoy the luxury of free healthcare?   I doubt that very much, but I am
completely ignorant of the state of play as far as that is concerned.
Australia does NOT provide free healthcare for foreign visitors, much the
same as USA, but with less debilitating rules or jail time for defaulters :)
