Here we go again with biased treatment of the facts.
 
That's straight out of the Daily Express story - basically Franks saying  "he 
would have put in £40m".
 
How much is Bates going to bring in? He hasn't said. Experience suggests he  
will bring in some inward investment a la Matthew Harding. What if it was,  
say, £100m. In which case if we'd gone with Redbus it would have "cost us  £60m 
of inward investment", would it not?
 
Let's see how it pans out, eh?
