I thought it was a given that all football debts would be paid in full, or
are the FL just ensuring they get paid in a reasonable time, not like £1 a
year?

What is it with the salary cap? That seems a bit odd to me. Who sets the
cap? How long for? Will that effect currently contracted players (if the
cap is lower)?

Re HMRC, if LUFC agree to this alleged backhand payment of debts then surely
every other creditor will be up in arms. Why should HMRC get more than
anyone else is due? I can see why the FL want this to be done, they are
still running scared from the HMRC and hoping they will just go away. If
they are that worried then why don’t they pay off HMRC themselves - it isn’t
for LUFC's good if the HMRC get more money and slink off, it is a football
league issue and they/we should all pay for it, especially as they have just
been given £100m by the prem league.
