My dad took me to the Leeds away game at Ipswich in August 1971, which we won 2-0. As I watched the pre-match video last night on the big screen, I saw the clip of Jack Charlton scoring at Ipswich, and it occurred to me that the goal might have been scored in that game. Does anyone know when Charlton managed to find the net at Portman Road? The scorers that day were Lorrimer and Belfitt. Charlton scored at Portman Road on the 4th. November 1972 and I think that's his only goal there.
