I agree we can forget the play offs, it just doesn't happen in them or indeed cups generally for Leeds. 1 FA 1 league is a poor domestic return for a club of our size/history, its not grayson's fault, much better managers have tried and failed. Maybe an acceptance of this and a reduction in expectation might help
However, we face the real prospect of a rejuvenated Palace, a billionaire Soton, a Sheff Weds team that is on the mend off but not on the pitch, a wealthy but under achieving MK Dons, a wealthy Peterborough side with a decent boss. It will be very hard to get out of this league next season as the other 23 clubs still seem to think that the 11 men in Leeds shirts are a scalp/the team that got to the semis of the CL as opposed to assorted old Cheltenham, Northampton, Oldham, Ipswich, Leicester and Wealdstone players! But I don't think all is lost this season. We have 3 games now that have to be won, against total crap. If we get the 9 points by hook or by crook the confidence will return in time for Charlton and I am confident in that time at least one of Millwall Charlton and/or Swindon will have dropped something. It's that sort of league. Lets not forget that our reserve keeper and former defensive midfielder are powering Swindon on! If we don't get 9 points from these 3 games its our own fault and we don't deserve to go up and the horror of Rochdale* away next season awaits!
