HI Andy
Can you explain what you are trying to do? the picture is somewhat confusing.
Are you using dovetails to join the wood on the edges like box making, or are
you making them for angled groves like making a shutter?

I don't want to be a party Pooper here. but, The Legacy dose some things very
well, and other things OK, just because you can do something on the Legacy dose
not mean its the best way to do it.
surface planning a board is a good example. Yes it can do a pretty good job,
but for what its worth, using a plainer would be a better and faster choice,in
most cases.

I believe the sliding dovetails would work out better if done on a router
table. but please don't let me stop you from trying. I would like to see how it
turns out for YOU. ;-)
I wish you Good Luck.
C.A.G.

Subject: sliding dove tails on the mill

Okay, I have a desire to try this on my mill. I've read that it can only be
reasonably achieved using a CNC. However. I think if you somehow used a
dovetail jig (i was thinking the portercable dovetail jig because that's what i
have) to properly space the cuts and offset the 2 pieces so you cut both at the
same time, it could be done.

Anyone have any thoughts/recommendations? Anyone try something like this
before?
