Although I'm really new to Legacy, I love the event section and would find it most helpful to have the default sorted by date of the event. With that said, once you go to options and change to sort by date and save it, it's done. Yes, its a pain to have to do that each for ech individual, each time we add another event, but we do have the capability of sorting by date. It would be a wonderful enhancement and for someone who has a "ton" of documents to enter into Legacy, it would be a great timesaver.

Dennis,
I believe that Janis Gilmore raises a good point.
Legacy, by default, as you noted, arranges Events as they are
entered. However, one does have the option of reordering Events by Name or
Date for each individual.
If the default ordering can be undone on an individual basis, then
why not allow us the option of selecting the default by Date instead of
when entered?
Yes, I know that you are going to state I should send this in as a
suggestion, but I believe this needs to be discussed here more to see how
many Legacy users would like an automatic sort by date. Or at least that
option.
I, for one, find it hard to understand why the order of censuses
under Events do not sort automatically by year, so that the earliest census
is on top, instead of in the middle as is often the case. Again, this can
be an option under Options/Customize.
