I was glad to find the little box to check inside the repair function - sort
by date.
It *does* sort by date, but the sort function isn't self-perpetuating. In
other words, it sorts the events presently in the database, but does not set
my future preference to continue sorting by date. The next time I enter an
event, I again have to click the sort by date button.
