Robert,
Not sure if this will help but a Google search on DATV+genealogy produces a
number of sites using that acronym or code. Here is one sample. Could it
stand for date viewed?

Subject: [LegacyUG] VERY OT: DATV ?? What is it?
I have been downloading Gedcoms for research, importing some of them. The
ones I import has a item that Legacy can't seem to match, namely DATV.
What
is DATV please? Anyone know? I would like to know how to handle that
information. Just put it in notes?
