Carol,

I should not worry too much about that at the moment. We know that the family files *will* present correctly and this can be dealt with later. OK, it may well mean recompiling your web pages in Legacy and then reuploading them all to to your site but it seems to me that the major question is to determine the cause of the pictures not displaying in the first place. Hence my suggestion to start with the legacy output.

In C:\Legacy\Web there should be at least 2 folders (depending on how you have constructed your site) in it at least 2 folders one of which will be called "pictures" and I suspect another is "voiles2rmggedcom". In any event it is the "picture" folder we are interested in. Open this folder and it should contain the picture named "a-greenberry-1770-1831-9.jpg" with the name *exactly* as I have pasted it here. If the photo is not there then the problem is that the path for this file is not the same as Legacy thinks it is and the picture will need reconnecting to it's proper file. This would be true for any other missing pictures as well.

If the picture name contains spaces, or is different in any way at all from the name I have typed then the name on the picture needs to be changed; again this applies to any other picture where the name contains spaces and it is necessary to insert a "_" or "-" instead.

The HTML code in the file looks to be fine as far as I can see so I don't think the problem is there, and if, and only if, the picture is in the "picture" folder and its name is exactly the same as above does the problem lie further up the line.

I only have about 3 - 4 hrs left so if you could check this and let me know I may be able to help further.

Ron Ferguson

Ron,

I will do this, but now I also have to figure out why not all of my family
groups are uploading completely. On many of them, children are missing in
the group (but show up elsewhere), and some parents (who have children) show
no children at all.
