Ron, I've done this - and there are no spaces in the names, the cases of the characters are all small. I then compared these (in my Legacy webpage file) with what ended up being uploaded - and they are identical.
One thing I noticed, though, is that these picture files (the ones that are not displaying correctly) are all really small, 1K each; whereas my pictures that display correctly are much bigger in size. I think this is significant, but I don't know what to do about it. I still cannot explain why some families are not uploading correctly - only 2 of 7 children are uploaded, for example. The files before upload look fine, but after upload, the children have vanished.
