I unsubscribed from this list, the most unpleasant one that I have ever been on, last night; but evidently the process didn't work. I have already thanked Stacey privately for the message.
It seems to me that it would be very simple to allow discussions of how to enter same-sex relationships, adoptions, etc., into Legacy software and to ban discussions of whether such relationships and events should be recognized in genealogy or whether they are moral. If someone veered from discussion of methodology into discussion of propriety, then the moderators could issue a warning to that person.
