the report does not make clear when it switches from one family line to
another
One of the reasons why I use the format of UserID which I do is so that
I can tell at a glance which family line I am looking at and how far
along the line from me. My UserIDs comprise a prefix of letter and
number together with the RIN, the letter indicating one of my four
grandparents and the number indicating the generation.
Admittedly, once you go back further than grandparents there are a lot
more than 4 lines involved, but grandparents are well within "personal
knowledge" for most people so it is sufficient to know that so-and-so
was related on Grandpa A's or Grandma B's side or whatever.
