This is the way it has worked for some time, guess some of us just forgot
how we set it up originally.

But in cases of "his, hers, and ours" families, it only lists the
descendants of the person selected - i.e. if you are running the report on
the Father, you will see his children from both marriages.

If the 2nd wife also had children from a previously marriage, these children
do also show up on the family view (with 2nd wife) as ½ children under the
2nd husband.

However, the children from the 2nd wife's first husband do not show up on a
descendant report for the 2nd husband unless you also add the 2nd husband as
a 2nd parent to these children - e.g. 'step' relationship.

When written out, it seems convoluted, but it works. Perhaps Support can
confirm that this is also the proper way to have "all" of the ½ children
show up on the report.

Thanks,
TomK
