OK, I just figured it out. Mozy does let you choose a different file location. 
I just created a new folder called Restored Files within the Legacy Data 
folder. I left the file name the same since it was in a different folder. 
Problem solved. Copied and pasted the notes with no problem. Thanks, JL! Proof 
of why we need to backup. Wish I could figure out what caused the notes to 
disappear.

I use Mozy too but can't remember if you have a choice where to restore a file 
to when you restore. If so that would work.  If not, rename your present file 
and move it temporarily while you make the changes from the restored one.  Just 
minor musical chairs.
