Why ever do they not use utf-8 coding - Unicode?  Or more precisely, why
allow SOME of these characters in Notes but nowhere else?

Is this something to suggest as an enhancement?

I have just had another look at this and whilst the Ó and ó do work most of
the other Polish characters do not. It would seem that the only ones which
do work are the Special Characters included in the Font List.
 
No doubt due to the lack of utf8 coding.
