Hi Ken

I have Word 2003 and I set it to Polish and US (English) . You can select
either one. It prints Polish characters in Names, Places and Notes.

fields

I have Polish family members and Legacy doesn't recognize the POLISH
spelling  like

                    Józefa so I do my best and spell it the English way

Those are html codes. Legacy doesn't recognize those. It returns a ? or
some other letter when doing what you advise.

you can enter them by holding down the Alt key while typing in the 3
number code on you numeric key pad. The following website
"http://webdesign.about.com/od/localization/l/blhtmlcodes-pl.htm";
gives a list of the codes for the different characters. Forget about
the &# just type in the number while holding down the Alt key.
