I understand the difference between what I suggested and what Ken wrote.
However, I received a copy of Kens e-mail after I wrote about Civil Unions
and had no knowledge of his e-mail before I wrote my post that I sent to the
LegacyTranslation mailing list. I have a great deal of patience with Legacy
and understand the problems involved.

The genealogical software made in Sweden do not permit same sex marriages as
yet. It is my view that in todays world we – family historians – are going
to have more and more of these relationships to record in our
genealogical/family history software.

I gave a link to a site there a work-a-round is shown as to how one can get
Legacy to handle same sex marriages. The link is:

history software provide free updates without charge.
