Hi Isabel,

I was told basically the same thing years ago. But I would think the
disruption it would cause would be minimal in relation to the benefits it
would offer ALL Legacy users. Perhaps the programmers could create an option
to override this and allow users to "un-chronologically" (if than can be
used as a word<grin>) set their order of children, either for the whole file
or by families. I don't know!
If children are entered without a birth date then why would the programmers
not create a situation where these children are listed at the bottom, or top
of the lists? This way we could have all children with birth dates shown
chronologically!

I don't think I've seen another genealogy program that does not
automatically place children in chronological order of birth, but then again
I could be wrong.

I think in many cases this is the result if importing via a GEDCOM, but am
not too sure if this is a part of the problem.
