Then why not place all children in chronological order then have an option
to override this process so that one can view their families and place them
in the order they want, then have a button to click that says something like
"don't change the order of children in this family"! Just a rambling
thought!

Cheers,
Ron Chnier

One reason it's nice NOT to have it sorted automatically is if there are
some of the children who you don't have a birth date for, but you know
they are older than some of those who do have a birth date. In that
case, you want to at least be able to override the chronological
sorting.

Ron,
You can right click on any of the children's names and select
children's
settings. Select sort to get them in birth order. I guess it would be
nice
to have an option where it is done automatically (I don't think there is
such an option), but this hasn't been a hassle for me.

I find it frustrating to see the order birth of children out of
sequence.
Would it be possible in future upgrades to have all children displayed
chronologicaly?

Thank you,
